Plume heights of 15.2 km were recorded for this explosive event. The duration of the lightning sequence was 42.8 minutes. This explosion did not have any precursor lightning like the three previous events. The electrical activity began with small discharges over the vent, growing to larger, discrete discharges as the activity waned. At approximately 10:00 UTC a subsequent small explosive event occurred. The final lightning discharge occurred at approximately 10:03.
